+ What should I bring to class?

We recommend bringing a mat, towel, and water bottle to all heated classes. We provide blocks, straps, and weights.

Face masks are optional and are not required to take in studio classes.

+ What is your studio etiquette?

~ Arrive on time for class. The studio opens 30 minutes before class, so plan to arrive early and get settled in. The front door will be locked 5 minutes after the start of each class.

~ Leave your slippas in the entrance area to help keep our studio floors fresh and clean.

~ Check-in at the front desk for each class you take.

~ Place all personal items such as bags and cell phones in a locker to keep our space distraction and clutter free.

~ Silence any wearable devices prior to the start of class such as an Apple Watch or Smart Watch.

~ Stay for savasana. The final pose of each class is the most important one. If you can't stay for the whole class, please notify your instructor before class starts and plan to leave the studio room quietly before savasana begins.

~ Put any props you used during class outside of the studio room so they can be sanitized for the next group of yogis.

~ Return any rented items such as yoga mats and towels in the appropriate bins in the hallway.

~ If you can't make it to a class you registered for, please remove yourself from the class on the app to make space for another yogi.

+ How do I access Live Stream?

One hour before class starts you will receive an email with the Live Stream link. The first time you take a Live Stream class, you will need to download the MindBody Live Stream app onto your device or you can choose to Live Stream via your Internet Browser.

+ How do I access Video Library classes?

You can access our Video Library through our website under the "Classes" tab or on the Yoga Room Hawaii app.

+ How far ahead of time can I register for class?

You can register for in studio and Live Stream classes up to 7 days in advance. If you plan to take in-studio classes, we recommend signing up at least a few days ahead of time, as spots are limited. If class is full, you can always join the waitlist.

+ Where should I park?

There is a municipal parking lot at our building that charges $0.75/30 minutes to park. Cash is not accepted in the lot, so please be prepared to pay with a credit card. There is also metered parking on 12th Avenue as well as the parking lot across 12th Avenue.

+ When should I check in for class?

We open the doors 30 minutes prior to class time. We recommend arriing at least 15 minutes before class starts to check-in and get set up for class. Doors are locked at the start of class time.

If you are taking a Live Stream class, please log in 5 minutes before the start to class to ensure that you are logged in and ready to start when class begins.

+ Why are some classes heated?

Heat is widely-loved in yoga classes because it helps your body warm up quickly. In some classes heat is used to build intensity while in others it is used to help you safely move into deeper stretches. We use infrared heat in our studios, which helps heat your body without adding humidity to the room.

+ Do I need to have my video on for a Live Stream class?

We want you to do whatever makes you feel comfortable! We love to be able to put a face to a name, and many of our students say that keeping the camera on helps them feel connected and accountable. Do what’s right for you.

+ What if I didn’t receive a Live Stream link in my email?

Check your spam folder and search your inbox for Yoga Room Hawaii. If you still can’t find your link, give us a call at the studio at (808) 376-0087.

+ I’m on the waitlist to take class. What now?

If you are accepted off the waitlist, you will receive an email letting you know that you secured a spot in class. Keep an eye on your email in the two hours before class starts.

+ What if I missed class?

We do not have any cancelation or missed class fees.

+ Can I buy a Class Package with a gift card?
