We will begin with intention setting and breathwork to help unwind, relax and reset.  Afterwards, yogis will be guided into supported, restorative postures while Ally provides reiki.  We will end with a sweet savasana accompanied by yoga nidra to help support deep relaxation, better sleep and overall wellness.

Reiki Level 1 Training

Reiki, a form of energy healing, is an ancient Japanese practice that is used to reduce stress, improve health and quality of life. Reiki supports physical and emotional healing. Research suggests that utilizing Reiki activates the parasympathetic nervous system to heal the body and mind via the relaxation response. Reiki is accessible to everyone and is easy to learn. Practitioners use specific hand positions, held for a few minutes on or near the client’s clothed body. After receiving the Reiki 1 training, participants will be able to perform self-treatments. 

Description: This Reiki One Training Certification offers both the traditional teachings of Mikao Usui and includes many Western teachings of Madame Takata as she brought Reiki over to the United States a few decades ago.

  • Association of Chakras & Meridian with Reiki

  • How to do self Reiki

Upon completion of this course, students will have received their first set of attunement. Students of this course have the opportunity to become well versed in traditional Reiki teachings, and as well as gain access to additional techniques.

-Water

-Snacks (dark chocolate or dark colored foods or root vegetables are best to help keep you grounded)

-Layers to keep warm during Reiki
