Eric Rosso, RYT 200
Eric has been teaching yoga sculpt since 2013, and in 2015 he received his 200-hour yoga certification and started teaching other forms of yoga. As one of the owners of Yoga Room Hawaii, Eric truly believes yoga can help all individuals move towards a more meaningful, balanced and happier life path. Eric has owned an advertising agency since 1995 and played football at Brown University.
Paula colletti, E-RYT 500
Paula has been teaching yoga since 2011 and teaches power vinyasa, sculpt, hot power fusion, and yin restorative. Paula also created and leads the teacher training programs offered at YRH. As one of the owners of Yoga Room Hawaii, and the studio manager, Paula is dedicated to creating an environment where students can grow, heal, expand, and feel empowered!
Max Hannemann, SCULPT
Max Hannemann is from Laie, Hawaii and a proud graduate of Kahuku High School. He started to attend Yoga Sculpt classes in 2012 and has taught this format since the spring of 2015. In his free time, Max enjoys spending time with his family and friends and participating in outdoor activities and sports.
Naomi Iwabuchi, RYT 200
Naomi became a certified yoga teacher in 2012 and teaches vinyasa and restorative classes at the Yoga Room. Creating an in-the-moment experience where distraction fades away is the goal of her teaching. Outside of yoga, Naomi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, fostering kittens, and taking naps.
Tiana Hannemann, SCULPt
Tiana was born and raised here in Hawai’i and graduated from ‘Iolani School. Her yoga practice began in 2015. Then in 2018, inspired by her father Max, she took Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training in Los Angeles, while earning her B.S. engineering degree from the University of Southern California. Tiana is incredibly passionate about yoga sculpt and strives to leave you feeling empowered and blissed out. When she is not teaching, Tiana is working on her sustainable activewear line RIKA Active.
ALLY MILFORD, RYT 200
Ally was born and raised just north of Boston MA and has been living in Kailua since 2019. She was introduced to yoga over 20 years ago but leaned heavily into the practice of yoga when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2009. She holds a 500 hour RYT and is Chromatic Yoga certified. Ally is also a certified Reiki Master. She loves teaching Vinyasa with a Hatha flare as well as Yin & Restore and Sculpt. She focuses her classes on supporting all bodies. As a long distance runner, she utilizes functional fitness to avoid injuries. When she’s not at the studio, you can find her teaching first grade. She can't wait to meet you on your mat!
amanda kutaka, sculpt
Born-and-raised in Hawaii, Amanda is driven by her deep love for our Island home and a passion for an active lifestyle. She delved into yoga in 2020 as a means of cross-training, finding it a transformative practice, both mentally and physically. Grateful for the guidance of the teachers and the supportive community at Yoga Room Hawaii, Amanda recently graduated from Yoga Room Hawaii’s Sculpt Teacher Training Program.
BEE Kafovalu, RYT 200
Bee is a passionate yogi, who recently graduated from Yoga Room’s 200-Hour YTT program. For Bee, yoga is part of her dharma, her life’s purpose, to create an inspiring, empowering, and accepting environment for all. Outside of yoga, she’s whipping up a matcha latte, reading, surfing, or enjoying being in community with others.
Brooke Protacio, RYT 200
Brooke was born and raised in Pearl City, Hawaii. She started practicing yoga in 2015 as a way to stay fit and in shape while being on the dance team at Colorado State University. From going to dance team practice, studying, cheering at sporting events, to working part-time with the senior population, she felt most grounded when practicing yoga. She received her Yoga Sculpt training from CorePower Yoga in Colorado. She loves connecting with her students by leading them through an intense, physical workout while keeping it fun and encouraging!
CARRIE SUSSKIND, RYT 200
Carrie discovered her passion for yoga in 2007 and began teaching in 2018. Her Vinyasa classes foster curiosity through thoughtful sequencing designed to guide students out of their thinking minds and into their bodies. Carrie firmly believes in the transformative power of mindful movement, offering a space for self-reflection and personal growth in every session. When she's not on her mat, you can find Carrie working away as a Graphic Designer, on a hike with her dog Ziggy, watercolor painting, or paddling to the Mokes.
CEcilia Ryan, E-ryt 500
Cecilia found yoga in 2000 and started teaching in 2004. She embraces yoga and life holistically. To her, yoga is the study and application of philosophy, science, lifestyle and movement on and off the mat. She continues her education of the ancient and modern approaches to well-being and weaves this knowledge skillfully into her teachings. Her classes are marked by creative flow, structural alignment and present moment awareness to equally strengthen and ease body and mind. Her aim is to leave her students feeling strong, grounded, clear, and joyful.
CLYDE MATSUSAKA, E-RYT 200 / RYT 500
Clyde has maintained a daily yoga practice since 2008 and has been teaching yoga since 2013. Clyde has traveled extensively and have attended numerous yoga trainings and retreats. He is deeply grateful for the wisdom and inspiration all his teachers and fellow students have taught him. He is dedicated to inspire students of all abilities to attain harmony and strength between body and mind through the positive energy of yoga.

Danielle has been doing yoga since she was a child and dove in as an adult. She was first certified in Milan, Italy where she taught until moving back to the United States and continuing her yoga practice in Hawaii. As a full time architect and artist, Danielle loves spending her free time outside, whether it be surfing, hiking, snorkeling, or skating, nature is her best friend.
Emily BAUMANN - RYT 200
Emily is a yoga, meditation, fitness, and breathwork instructor, as well as an astrologer and life coach. Emily has taught yoga for 12 years. Her background in dance, and love of music, infuses her classes with creativity, rhythm, and flow. In her astrology readings and life coaching, she empowers people to understand themselves better and harness their authentic expression. Emily motivates people to deepen their connection to themselves, those around them, and their environment to live an inspired and harmonious life.
Elyse kim - ryt 200
Elyse is a yoga and classical Pilates instructor who found a passion for yoga at a young age after experiencing its mental and physical health benefits. Her unique style combines the fundamental principles of Vinyasa style yoga with classical elements drawn from Pilates. Elyse is committed to sharing her love for science-backed wellness and exploring mind-body connection with her students, encouraging them to discover their best selves, on and off the mat!
EMMA Kim - sculpt
Emma started practicing yoga in order to become more in touch with her mind and body, she hopes to pass her passion for yoga to others through her practice. In her free time you can find by Emma on various hikes and other outdoor activities!
EVE KONG - sculpt
Eve has been practicing yoga since 2016 to cope with stress, physical and mental health. Since then, she has found herself on an eternal self-discovery journey through yoga! She wants to help others find their true path and empower them through their own yoga journey. Eve is a proud graduate of Yoga Room Hawaii’s first Yoga Sculpt training! Eve is excited to motivate you with mindful movements and positive affirmations to embrace your practice on and off your mat!
Fran Quan, RYT 500
Fran was born and raised in Curitiba, Brazil. She spent her early years as a dancer and swimmer. She took her first yoga class in India and was drawn to yoga's movement as a way to recharge and restore her mental and physical well-being. She found her path to Hot Yoga while living in Japan and eventually got her Hot Yoga certification in Koh Samui, Thailand in 2010. Fran offers her students both challenging and carefully guided practice, helping them move their bodies and minds not only in the hot room, but in life. Fran believes that yoga is a life time of learning and she is beyond grateful to be able to connect and inspire through the practice. Full of smiles and joy, Fran believes that LOVE is the key to everything in life.

Francesca took her first sculpt class in 2023, and was drawn to the fun environment where you could get a good sweat. She recently completed her Sculpt Certification at Yoga Room Hawaii and hopes to share her passion by delivering a welcoming, upbeat and energetic class.

Gina started her yoga journey in 2016, her passion is to share the same love that she found with others. She received her certification in 2017 and shortly after became 200hr certified. Come and be inspired with a high energy, fun and intense workout that will surely have you sweating!

Jacey first found her passion for yoga when she moved to Oahu for university in 2022, in search of a new form of movement she would love. Growing up as a competitive athlete and swim coach, she has always had a love for fitness and sharing it with others. She recently completed Yoga Room’s 100HR Yoga sculpt training and aims to teach classes that leave you feeling blissful, empowered, and strong.
Janelle kosaki, RYT 200
Janelle has had a lifelong love for music and movement. In 2014 she retired as a dance teacher and began practicing yoga as a way to maintain her relationship to music and movement but has discovered much more along the way. Janelle looks forward to sharing what she has learned along her yoga journey and connecting with the Yoga Room community.
Jessie Shapiro, E-RYT 500
Jessie has been teaching yoga since 2010, and has a style that seamlessly blends challenging with zen, while maintaining a fun and energetic feel to help build students up. Her extensive knowledge of anatomy and alignment will help students go deeper into their practice, and through her physically challenging classes she helps them find inner confidence and strength as well as peace and clarity that spill over into everyday life, helping students discover themselves.
JESSICA YUHARA, RYT 500
Originally from Honolulu, Jessica completed her 200-hour power vinyasa and hot power fusion training at CPY while living in Los Angeles. Upon returning home to Hawaii in 2018, Jessica continued to teach vinyasa classes, while incorporating sculpt into the mix via both in-studio and outdoor classes. She aims to give students a space to recharge, connect, feel empowered, and of course - get sweaty and smile.
Keala mason, E-RYT 500
Keala has a double M.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. She has been teaching various styles of yoga, meditation, and fitness for 2 decades (starting as a step aerobics teacher at James Madison University in Virginia in 2005). Her classes are suffused with attention to breath, spacious variability, and artfulness to provide a space of deep meditation. Off the mat, find her at the top of a hiking trail, catching the latest flick, reading a library book, learning a new language, or planning her next travel destination.
KIM TATSUYAMA, RYT 200
Kim started practicing yoga in 2017 and competed her 200 hour Vinyasa training thru CorePower Yoga in Honolulu. Yoga has been a way for Kim to connect with body, mind and the shining community that surrounds it. She recently started teaching in 2021, and it puts a smile on her face to be able to share this practice with others.

Kris is passionate about sharing her powerful vinyasa style yoga with practitioners of all ages and skill levels with the hope that everyone can connect to yoga in the way that is right for them. She strives to keep her classes creative, lighthearted, and challenging, hoping to allow her students to find freedom in their ever-changing bodies and minds.
Lauren teruya - sculpt
Lauren discovered yoga in 2012 and has been hooked to it ever since. Inspired by her time in college with Tiana, Lauren pursued her dream and completed her Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training in 2020. In 2022, she joined the Yoga Room Ohana and has loved every second of her teaching journey. Lauren is thrilled to be part of this incredible team and eagerly looks forward to pumping you up on your mat.
Liann Ebesugawa, RYT 200
Liann has been practicing yoga since 2010 and began teaching Yoga Sculpt in 2015. This practice was a gift that has buoyed her over a myriad of life transitions and allowed her to create a life all her own. Having led group fitness classes for over two decades, she is certain that adding yoga to the athleticism of a power driven class grounds us in the wisdom of our bodies to move beyond our edge. Most of all, she is committed to creating classes that are fun and challenging where her students feel supported to show up fully and take the leap of faith into what’s possible.
Lilly O’sullivan, sculpt
Lilly was introduced to hot yoga about 8 years ago in her small hometown of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and has continued to grow her practice ever since. At first hot yoga was another place to get that sweat endorphin release, but she quickly became hooked as she realized it allows not only a great workout, but to find peace in the chaos.When she isn’t doing yoga (especially sculpting) you can find her enjoying anything and everything outdoors: free-diving, surfing, skydiving, hiking, running, etc.

Lisa is an original hot yoga/Pilates HIIT instructor. She is simply living life one moment and breath at a time. Lisa loves teaching yoga with the intent to open hearts and create community in oneness.

Maddie has been practicing yoga and yoga sculpt for many years and has fallen in love with all aspects of it over the years. She recently finished Yoga Sculpt teacher training here at YRH, and couldn’t be happier to be teaching along side those who trained her.

Maka is a yoga teaching, social working jiu-jitsu lover, who strives to be an active participant in the Hawaiian Renaissance. Yoga has shaped her life in so many ways and she is super passionate when it comes to sharing this practice with anyone and everyone. Maka strives to find the sweet balance between control and surrender in her practice and my teaching.
MIKI ANZAI, RYT 200
Miki came to yoga after years of running, swimming, canoe paddling, soccer, and all the associated cross-training and finally found a form of physical activity that challenged her each and every time and never became rote. Then it got mental! Miki is grateful for the teachers, friends and community who constantly delight, inspire, and challenge her, and she is thrilled to find her yoga home. Noel attended bikram training Las Vegas in 2009. She taught classes in many Las Vegas yoga schools from 2009-2012. In 2013 she opened her own yoga school, bikram San Clemente, where she nourished a beautiful yoga community and mentored many up and coming young teachers. She has since relocated to Honolulu and is excited to begin teaching a new group of students.

Beginning her yoga journey in 2020, Olivia quickly fell in love with the transformative power of the practice. After earning her Sculpt Yoga teaching certification at YogaRoom, she is excited to guide students in building strength, mindfulness, and connection both on and off the mat.

RACHEL HONG, RYT 200
Rachel has practiced vinyasa and sculpt yoga since 2016 and is grateful to have instructed in many diverse and unique communities across the United States. She is deeply passionate about fostering healing, play, community, and self-discovery during her dynamic and creative classes. When not on the mat, Rachel is painting or working on her American Studies PhD at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.

Riley started his Yoga journey back in 2014 with an HPF class. Addicted to the heat right away he signed up for Teacher Trainings to learn how to become an instructor. He loves electronic music and teaches all formats but Sculpt is his favorite class to teach.

Rita has recently graduated from Yoga Room Hawai’i’s 200hr Vinyasa Teacher Training program. In her free time you can find her reading books on philosophy & psychology, getting lost in the jungle or out in the water searching for waves. She started practicing Yoga as a way to manage physical pain, and cross train for surfing. Her goal each class is for her students to leave feeling grounded, empowered, confident, and open minded.
SARAH tUMACDER, OM HOT 90
Sarah began instructing yoga here on Oahu in 2010. She feels alive and at home inside the energy of a heated led class and continuously learns from the interplay between her practice and teaching. Off the mat she is a mom to 2 kids and 1 dog while managing the Leahi Health’s on the island.
Talaya Hart, E-RYT 200
Talaya is a light-hearted yogini with many years and styles of fitness in her toolbox. Talaya is going to make sure you sweat and have fun. Yoga is meant to be a relaxing, uplifting, and powerful experience. Together you will take a few minutes of your day to connect and get stronger, mentally and physically. When she is not sweating at Yoga Room Hawaii, you can find Talaya with Chris and Talley on the beach or adventuring on hikes.
Tanya Watamull, RYT 200
Tanya has been practicing yoga for 20 years and started her path as a teacher in 2015, teaching Om Hot 60, 75 and 90. She grew up in Ireland and moved to Hawaii to attend Chaminade University. She is married with four children and when she is not on the mat she enjoys time with family hiking, playing golf and cooking.
